Almost ten years of automotive packshots

For almost ten years, I have been photographing the parts and equipment of Euro4x4Parts, a specialist in automotive and 4x4 parts: filters, clutches, brakes, suspension, wheels, adventure gear… as well as products from brands such as Akisung Automotive. Mechanical parts, often dark, metallic or reflective, are among the most demanding subjects to light.

This long-term experience has taught me to shoot fast and right: a method, lighting and framing that stay identical from one product to the next, for a consistent catalogue where every product reads at a glance.

Images that feed your database

A product photo never lives on its own: it joins a product page, a catalogue, a marketplace. Over the years, I have managed the image library of an online parts catalogue and its link with the product database: files named by reference, format variations for the website, marketplaces and print, and tracking of what is left to shoot.

The result: files you can import as they are, with no sorting or renaming, and a catalogue that stays consistent even with thousands of products.

Bringing products to life in the studio

Beyond the white background, the studio is where a product tells its story. Sculpted light to reveal a material, controlled reflections on metal, focus stacking (several frames merged) for perfect sharpness from front to back, "levitating" parts, scenes set in their mechanical world: enough to turn a simple spare part into a campaign visual.

Frequently asked questions

White background or styled shots, which should I choose?

They work together: white background for your product pages and marketplaces (often required), styled shots for your campaigns, social media and your homepage. We decide together at the brief.

How are the photos delivered?

Retouched, clipped if needed, in the formats each channel requires (website, marketplaces, print) and named by product reference: you import them straight into your product database.

Do you offer 360° photography?

Yes: the product is photographed as it turns (usually 24 views), then the views are assembled so your customers can spin it with a fingertip on your website.
