Purpose

These terms govern the sale of photographic prints on this site by Anthony Froidevaux (details above) to private and business customers. Any order implies their full acceptance; they are available at any time on this page and can be saved or printed.

Photography services (weddings, portraits, corporate work, workshops…) are covered by a separate quote and contract.

Products and editions

Prints are limited-edition works, 30 copies per image across all sizes, numbered and signed, with a certificate of authenticity. On-screen colours may differ slightly from the final print depending on your display settings.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros, VAT not applicable (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), excluding shipping costs, which are shown before you confirm the order. Payment is made securely online through Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). The order is final upon payment confirmation, sent to you by e-mail.

Production and delivery

Each print is made to order. Shipping within 7 to 10 working days in mainland France (longer indicative times internationally, shown at checkout), in reinforced packaging with tracking. In case of damage on delivery, note reservations with the carrier and contact me within 48 hours with photos. Any import duties and taxes outside the European Union are payable by the buyer.

Right of withdrawal

Under articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving any reason. Simply notify me by e-mail or by post (details above), for instance using the template below. Return shipping is at your expense and the print must come back in perfect condition in its original packaging. You will be refunded, including the original delivery costs, within 14 days, using the same payment method; the refund may be withheld until the return is received.

Statutory warranties

All prints are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

Under the warranty of conformity, you have 2 years from delivery to obtain repair or replacement of the goods, or failing that a price reduction or refund; defects appearing within 24 months are presumed to have existed at delivery. Under the hidden-defects warranty, you may act within 2 years of discovering the defect and choose between cancelling the sale or a price reduction.

Intellectual property

The sale of a print transfers no copyright: reproduction, distribution or commercial use of the image remain prohibited without written agreement.

Consumer mediation

Under articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably, after first sending me a written complaint that was not resolved to your satisfaction. The name and contact details of the competent mediator will be published here shortly; in the meantime, they are available on request.

Complaints and governing law

For any question or claim, write to me by e-mail or by post (details above) and I will reply promptly. These terms are governed by French law; failing an amicable or mediated resolution, disputes fall under the competent French courts.
